I. Prepreg Fabrication

Preparation of Carbon Fiber Sheets:
Carbon fiber, sourced from synthetic fibers, undergoes a heating process to eliminate non-carbon atoms, leaving long chains of carbon atoms. These carbon fibers are spun into yarn and woven into sheets.

Prepreg Production:
Carbon fiber sheets are dipped into a liquid resin solution and then compressed between metal rollers, impregnating the sheets with a controlled amount of resin. Heat is applied to remove excess solvent and partially cure the resin, achieving a slightly viscous consistency.

Freezing Treatment:
During this stage, carbon fabric (carbon fiber prepreg) is created by bonding carbon threads with resin to form sheets. Since the adhesive is thermosetting, the sheets often undergo a freezing process (around -18°C with a shelf life of 6 months) to maintain quality.

II. Blank Construction

Cutting and Layering:
Carbon fabric is cut according to the design specifications using automated cutting machines. The cut pieces are then layered around a tapered core resembling a miniaturized rod, and the core is eventually removed.

The layered carbon fabric is tightly wrapped around the core using automated rolling machines. This creates the rod’s primary structure.

Binding and Solidification:

III. Rod Body Fabrication

Handle and Reel Seat Installation:
